The information here is constantly growing and changing, so a heads-up on a cause or resource, or a thought on an article or idea is always welcome. It might end up as an addition or a new resource.

I'm thinking about some sort of collection of National Stats. NationMaster and Gapminder have that area pretty well covered, so I'm still deciding on what form that will take.

• More Money should mean more access to Luxuries, Commodities, and more Buying Power in the Market. Political Sway should not be on the Market
• When those with Less Money or Power make Bad Decisions it usually impacts themselves the most, and possibly some of their Family or Community. When those with more Money or Power make Bad Decisions it is much more likely to impact Multitudes of People throughout the World
• Shift Taxation emphasis toward Sales and away from Income
• If People are well taken care of, then so are the Organizations and Corporations which are simply Groups of those People
• Locking the Addicted away in Prisons is very similar to how Previous Generations Locked the Mentally Unbalanced away in Sanitariums

Again, thanks to everyone who has showed support and offered their goodwill! The UOAH Free Ricers have already earned over 100,000 grains of rice for the World Food Programme, and the "Forum" page has officially become the "Log" page as more of the true "Forum" functionality transitions to Facebook (and Reddit as of July 16th 2011).

First off, thanks to everyone who has showed interest in and support for the UOAH so far.

Still deciding on certain aspects of the site. As stated other places, I'm trying to get as many ideas and as much info out there as possible, while keeping it as straight forward and easily accessible as possible. No matter where you are or how fast your connection, I want anyone to be able to quickly load, translate, and use the site.

I recently got the Facebook page up, and added the like buttons to the header last night.

I've gotten questions about some of the future functionality plans, and I have kicked the idea around to have accounts for people and let them comment directly into the forum instead of through email. I might do that eventually, but for now i'm trying to keep things pretty simple. I'm currently trying to get the ideas and info out there while using as little bandwidth as possible. I also wonder how many people really feel like they need another account username and password for yet another site.

The UOAH is not only about about viewing today, but also about looking to tomorrow. Some amazing developments are coming along in the world of 3D Printing.

If you haven't seen what MakerBot Industries has been doing or some of the possibilities home 3D printing enables, it's kind of incredible. With the development of a reliable way to melt old prints back into a form usable by the printer, you could easily print and reprint your basic household utility needs. If you break it or get tired of it, you could melt your part down to make something new. There have also been some heavy duty developments as well.

If you haven't checked out VICE as mentioned in the Recommeded Resources, I would highly reccomend their VICE Guide to Travel series. From the Gun Markets of Pakistan to the Ghettos of Liberia and the Tea Houses of North Korea, it's quite a unique and informative travel documentary series, a great glance into the world around us.
